Project #5 Portrait

I used Google Art Project to visit The Nelson - Atkins Museum of Art, virtually. Portrait #1 Woman Leaning on Her Elbows Pierre-Auguste Renoir 1875-1885 5 1/2" x 9" Oil on Canvas Portrait #2 Woman Seated Before a Black Background Henri Matisse 1942 21 3/4" x 18 1/4" Oil on Canvas Portrait #3 Portrait of Marie-Gabrielle de Gramont Elisabeth Louise Virgee Le Brun 1784 41 3/8" x 29 7/8" Oil on wood panel 1. I love the Impressionism used in the first portrait, it’s very beautiful, the vibrancy and less realistic portrait of the second piece, and I’ve always loved realism such as what portrait #3 represents. 2. I really wanted to try something more on the edge of realism with pencil (to the best of my ability) I was going to add water color but I decided to keep it just as a pencil drawing. 3. I had a difficult time with making it look realistic because I’d never draw a realistic portrait before. I watch a few YouTube videos on how to do
