Drawing My Hands

1. I was never good at drawing hands but I gave it my best try. It ended up taking me a few hours. For me the creases and lines were difficult to replicate. I had fun doing this mini project!

2. I used a pencil because I've never used charcoal to draw, and it seems messy. Though, I would've liked to see if I could've made my hands more realistic with Charcoal.

3. Strangely natural. I'm a righty and I used to always try to write with my left hand but it always felt weird, slow, and ended up badly. But using my left hand to draw with a pencil? It felt normal for some odd reason.

4. I like them both in different ways. The left one is slightly bigger and in a more relaxed position than the right one. But I think I did a pretty decent job with both of them. I like how the right one has darker lines, I would like to add that to my left one. They both could use some shading as well. My hands were great subjects! I really want to try using charcoal too, so I might just do that for fun.

5. I would definitely consider using my left hand for artwork in the future. I'm sure it strengthens the hand and gets a different part of your brain working. I loved drawing with my left hand because it ended up being surprisingly good and it was exciting to see.
