Sculpting, Glass, and Ceramics

1) Through the Eyes of a Sculptor, I found to be much more interesting of a video. Glass and Ceramics talked mostly about how they are made and only did snippets of its use in art. Through the Eyes of a Sculptor seemed to have a large foundation discussing the arts. I thought it was interesting that a lot of Sculptors do restoration arts, so they add things to existing historical pieces to keep it always looking fresh. In the Glass and Ceramics video, I felt it was pretty slow, most of it felt like I was watching the How it's Made show, which is informational but kinda boring. There was a little segment about stain glass windows and how they have to fit all the pieces together with metal and I've never seen it done before, and never thought too deeply about how they do that so it was pretty interesting to see. 2) I mean the art of sculpting, glass and ceramics is all in the reading. It shows how these things are used in art and architecture. 3) They're kind of outdated, I would like to see newer videos about this type of stuff. But I did like the Through the Eyes of the Sculptor video, I liked to see the art mostly and how it's made because sculpting has always been something that completely blows my mind. Like even learning the technicals of how they do it, I still can't quite comprehend how they do it. But it's interesting to see how they do certain things, and how they take precautions so it doesn't break while being transported etc. The Glass and Ceramics video, like I said was very bland. I feel like there was very little art and architecture mentioned. It was mostly about the science behind glass and ceramics, which is fine to an extent but pretty boring. I feel like I didn't learn anything I didn't already know, like glass is made from sand etc.
